March 31st, 2013 - Burglary in Southeast Fresno

On Monday, December 10, 2012 at 2:24 am, Southeast patrol officers responded to an armed robbery that occurred at 2558 S Maple, Cavalier Food &  Liquor. A male and female suspect entered the store and confronted the clerk. The male suspect was armed with an assault rifle and held the clerk at gunpoint. The female suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and stuffed it into a bag. The suspects grabbed cigarettes and lottery tickets before they left. The male and female fled on foot.

November 22, 2012 - Scratcher Heist

Madera County – Sheriff John Anderson announced last this afternoon that an arrest has been made in November’s 22-Mile House Scratcher Heist.  Christopher Nunn, 32, of Fresno is behind bars in Madera County.
Nunn was identified as the man seen on crutches in video surveillance tape that captured two men cashing the stolen scratchers in Fresno on November 28, 2012.  The second suspect, Robert Leroy Cave, 51, also from Fresno, is still outstanding. He was the suspect seen wearing a baseball cap.  Detectives believe a third man was involved.

December 6, 2012, 2012 - Identity Theft in Fresno

This unidentified female went into the Golden One Credit Union located at 111 E. Shaw on 12/6/12 using the stolen identity of another person and attempted to cash a check that had been stolen in the mail.  I’m attempting to identify this female.  Please contact Crime Stoppers with any information.

 

June 15, 2012 - Armed Robbery in Clovis

Clovis police are asking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a convenience store clerk at gunpoint June 15.

The man walked into the 7-Eleven store at Clovis and Barstow avenues about 3:30 a.m. and placed a bag of chips and a survival bracelet on the counter, police said. He then pulled a large revolver from his waistband and told the clerk, "No problems. No problems."

The clerk gave him the money from the cash register and the man walked west on Barstow. No one was hurt.

April 16, 2012 - Bank Robbery in Northwest Fresno

Fresno Police are looking for a suspect who committed an attempted robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank on west Shaw, on April 16, 2012.  He is described as a black male, in his 30’s, dark complexion, 6’0 tall with a medium build.  Please contact Crime Stoppers right away if you have any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.

 

April 13, 2012 - Robery in West Fresno

On April 13, 2012, the Check N Go on west Shields Ave was robbed by a suspect wearing an “old man mask”  who was armed with a handgun. He was covered from head to toe in clothing, so his actual race is unknown. On April 9, 2012, at 5:30pm, Northeast patrol officers responded to a bank robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank inside of Savemart located at 5750 N. First.  The lone suspect presented a demand note to the teller.  The suspect fled the location with $1000.00.

The suspect was described as: White male adult, mid 50’s, 5’,10”-5’11”, 160-170lbs, wearing a 49ers beanie cap, glasses, and a greenish-brown colored camouflage sweatshirt.

Februry 1, 2012 - Bank Robbery in Clovis

Clovis police have released photos of a man they say robbed a Bank of the West branch this morning. The bandit reportedly entered the bank at 200 Shaw Avenue about 9 a.m., showed a clerk a note that demanded cash and left with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and is in his early 30s. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.

 

Sheriff John Anderson today announced the FBI is working with Madera County Sheriff’s Office to learn the identity of an elderly man whose nude body was found in an olive orchard last month. A second rendering of the decedent is below.
