On Monday, December 10, 2012 at 2:24 am, Southeast patrol officers responded to an armed robbery that occurred at 2558 S Maple, Cavalier Food & Liquor. A male and female suspect entered the store and confronted the clerk. The male suspect was armed with an assault rifle and held the clerk at gunpoint. The female suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and stuffed it into a bag. The suspects grabbed cigarettes and lottery tickets before they left. The male and female fled on foot.
The male suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, early to mid 20’s, 5’7-5’10 tall, medium build, wearing a black hoody and blue jeans. He had a bandana covering his face and was armed with an assault rifle. It is unknown if the assault rifle is real or fake.
The female suspect is described as a White or Hispanic female, late teen to mid 20’s, 5’3-5’5 tall, medium build, wearing a plaid hoody jacket and sweat pants. She had a bandana covering her face.
The suspects are unidentified and wanted for armed robbery. This couple may also be responsible for an armed robbery of the Subway Sandwich shop on W. Shaw at Hwy 99, on December 5, 2012.
