Clovis police are asking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a convenience store clerk at gunpoint June 15.
The man walked into the 7-Eleven store at Clovis and Barstow avenues about 3:30 a.m. and placed a bag of chips and a survival bracelet on the counter, police said. He then pulled a large revolver from his waistband and told the clerk, "No problems. No problems."
The clerk gave him the money from the cash register and the man walked west on Barstow. No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as American Indian or Hispanic, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has long black hair and multiple tattoos on both arms, including tribal tattoos on his left arm. The man was wearing a black shirt, baggy black jeans, a dark gray baseball hat with an "SF" emblem on it and glasses with black frames.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
